That's right folks, Reverend Wright And The Mystery Train Gamblers are about to release a little bit of rockabilly heaven in the form of a brand new, limited-run ep CD with 4 brand new, never before heard songs.
The songs were recorded in true Elvis/Sun Studio style, live and in one night with beer flowing, good friends around and everything that can only come with writing and recording rockabilly music.
The unfortunate news is that South Africa might not see the Gamblers live for a long time as the Reverend is heading back to California for an indefinite time. "I have had the best time I could ever ask for with this band and I felt it was only right to hit the studio and record a few new Gambler songs to remember the good times with." said the Rev.
The ep, entitled "Steppin' On The Gas" will be released on the 3rd of September 09 and pre-orders are being taken for it right now. Visit the Hot Rod Shop to buy your copy now!
